We’re thrilled to announce that Adam Prestino has been promoted to Quality Assurance Supervisor. Adam consistently showcases a strong commitment to food safety and a passion for problem-solving, and we’re excited to see him grow in his career.
In his role as Quality Assurance Supervisor, Adam leads the daily operations of the Quality Assurance department, managing a team of QA technicians. He is also the go-to expert for interpreting pathogen reports, ensuring that products meet safety standards before being shipped or further processed. His meticulous attention to detail and dedication to quality make him an essential part of the North Freeze Dry team.
Adam enjoys working with people, particularly helping them address food safety concerns and finding collaborative solutions to common challenges. What drives him the most is the shared commitment among his teammates to achieve a common goal.
One of Adam’s proudest accomplishments has been earning his PCQI certification and serving as the company’s primary expert in that area. This achievement reflects his proficiency in food safety and his commitment to ensuring the highest standards in our products.
Outside of North Freeze Dry, Adam enjoys spending time with his family. In the fall, you’ll find him hunting deer, while his summers are filled with camping adventures with his wife and kids.
When he’s not out in the woods or camping, Adam enjoys pursuing creative and technical hobbies. He loves woodworking, tinkering with 3D printing projects and practicing target shooting.
